Cotton micro-plush (velour) fitted sheet – a stretchable sheet with a velvety-soft plush surface. The PREMIUM collection introduces a new generation of velour: exceptionally strong, silky-smooth to the touch, and designed to ensure healthy sleep thanks to its high content of premium cotton yarn.
Velour refers to various types of short-pile textiles characterized by their soft, slightly “fuzzy” surface. We use the term cotton micro-plush to help customers better understand the feel and surface finish of this velour fabric.
Micro-plush is a highly popular material, especially in the winter months, but it is generally offered as 100% polyester (PES). Although this commonly available synthetic fabric is soft to the touch and may feel warm, its performance corresponds to the nature of synthetic fibers – it is not breathable, does not wick moisture, and may cause skin or other discomfort over time, particularly for sensitive individuals.
Our cotton micro-plush contains a high 80% cotton content, with the remaining 20% PES forming the underlying structure of the stretchable fabric.
Weight: 200 g/m²
Velour fitted sheets are suitable for mattresses up to 30 cm in height, but they can also be used on lower mattresses – the excess fabric will simply tuck under more. The sheet is highly elastic, which is why it is available in only four size ranges, each offered as a flexible “from–to” measurement. It features a strong elastic band sewn around the entire perimeter, ensuring a secure fit. If you are unsure about the appropriate size, our customer service team will be happy to assist you.
Custom sizing or other individual adjustments are not available for fitted sheets.
Care instructions: We recommend washing at 40°C. The improved fabric structure allows tumble drying, which helps remove residual fibers from production during the first wash. This significantly reduces the initial tendency to shed, a common characteristic of velour textiles. Velour bedding is easy to care for and does not require ironing.
