Cotton Velour Fitted Sheet (Cotton Microplush) – a fitted sheet with a velvety soft plush surface. The PREMIUM collection introduces a new-generation velour that is exceptionally durable, silky smooth to the touch, and ensures a healthy sleep thanks to its high content of premium cotton yarn.
Velour refers to various types of short-pile textiles characterized by a velvety, slightly “fuzzy” surface. We use the term cotton microplush to better describe the feel of the velour finish to our customers.
Microplush is a highly sought-after material, especially during the winter months, but it is generally offered in a 100% polyester (PES) version. While this commonly available synthetic material is soft to the touch and may feel warm, its performance reflects the nature of synthetic fibers—it is not breathable, does not wick moisture, and may cause unwanted skin or other sensitivities in more delicate individuals over time.
Our cotton microplush is distinguished by its high cotton content (80%); the remaining 20% PES forms the base structure of this flexible fabric.
Weight: 200 g/m²
Velour fitted sheets are suitable for mattresses up to 30 cm high, but they can also be used on lower mattresses—the fabric will simply tuck more underneath. The sheet is highly elastic, which is why it is offered only in 4 size ranges. It is equipped with a strong elastic band around the entire perimeter, ensuring a secure fit. If you are unsure which size to choose, feel free to contact our customer support team.
Custom sizing or other customer adjustments are not possible for fitted sheets.
Care: We recommend washing the sheets at 40°C. The new and improved structure allows tumble drying, which during the first wash helps remove residual production fibers. This minimizes the initial tendency to “shed,” which is typical of velour fabrics. Velour bedding is easy to maintain and does not require ironing.
Velour fitted sheets meet the criteria of the international Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification.
