Cotton Microplush (Velour) Fitted Sheet – a fitted sheet with a velvety soft plush surface. The PREMIUM Collection introduces a new generation of velour that is exceptionally durable, silky soft to the touch, and ensures comfortable sleep thanks to its high content of premium cotton yarn.
Velour refers to various types of short-pile textiles characterized by their velvety, gently “fuzzy” surface. We use the term cotton microplush to help customers better understand the surface finish of this velour fabric.
Microplush is a popular material, especially during the winter months, but it is generally offered in a 100% polyester (PES) version. While this commonly available synthetic fabric is soft and warm to the touch, its performance corresponds to the nature of synthetic fibers—it is not breathable, does not wick moisture, and may cause skin or other discomfort over time, particularly for sensitive individuals.
Our cotton microplush stands out with its high cotton content (80%), with the remaining 20% PES forming the structural base of the flexible fabric.
Fabric weight: 200 g/m²
Velour fitted sheets are suitable for mattresses up to 30 cm in height, but they can also be used on lower mattresses—the fabric will simply tuck under more. The sheet is very elastic, which is why it is offered in only four size ranges. It features strong elastic around the entire perimeter and stays securely in place. Custom sizing or individual adjustments are not available for fitted sheets.
Care: We recommend washing the sheets at 40°C. The new, improved fabric structure allows tumble drying, which helps remove residual fibers from production after the first wash. This minimizes the initial tendency to shed, which is typical of velour fabrics. Velour bedding is easy to maintain and does not require ironing.
